Steven Berry, DDS
Growing up the son of a dentist, I quickly realized how fortunate I was. My dad would often be one of the only fathers at a weekday game. Even when I was playing in college, my parents were able to watch my games from Idaho to Florida. I knew that was something not to take for granted. After graduating from Dallas Baptist University in 2001, I went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry and graduated in 2005. Dental school was tough, but very rewarding. After the hard work in school was a great reward, I got to work for my mentor and hero, my father. This is where I feel like I learned more in a couple of years than in 4 years of school. I was able to learn from my father’s decades of experience in patient care as well as dental care. Seeing how being honest and realistic with patients is priority number one. Making sure that patients know there are normally more options than just the most expensive one is also something that is important.
After a couple of years, more good fortune, I got married to my wife, Katie. In 2008, we opened Berry Family Dentistry in Wylie. Over the next few years, we would be blessed with a son, Logan, and a daughter, Georgia. Today, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, playing golf, and being outdoors.
Samuel Casco, DDS
Dr. Samuel Casco was drawn to dentistry through a lifelong passion for service and healthcare, inspired by his mother’s career as a nurse and her example of compassion, discipline, and integrity. His commitment to dentistry was further shaped through volunteer work, including a dental brigade in Panama and service with organizations such as Texas Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Casco earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M School of Dentistry, where he trained in a prestigious program and built lasting relationships with mentors. He continues to advance his clinical skills through ongoing education, including implant therapy training, diode laser certification, and advanced endodontic education. Staying current with evolving dental technology and research is a priority in his approach to care.
Known for his attention to detail and patient-first philosophy, Dr. Casco believes trust and transparency are the foundation of great dentistry. He is thorough in his exams, thoughtful in treatment planning, and focused on long-term oral health rather than quick or volume-driven care. He takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental decisions.
Outside the office, Dr. Casco enjoys staying active, watching sports, and spending time with his Bernedoodle, Barli. Faith, family, and community are central to his life, and he looks forward to continuing his involvement in service and outreach locally and abroad.
